The South Africa weather forecast for Thursday indicates extreme fire danger in the Northern Cape while other regions experience a variety of conditions.
Fire danger warnings
No impact-based weather warnings have been issued for Thursday. However, residents of the Hantam Municipality in the Northern Cape should be vigilant as extremely high fire danger conditions are expected. No other advisories are in effect.

Eastern Cape
Both the western and eastern halves will experience morning fog along the coast, turning fine and warm. Winds will be variable but generally moderate.
Free State
Conditions will be fine and cool to warm, turning partly cloudy over the eastern parts eventually.
Gauteng
The province is expected to see partly cloudy and warm conditions. The UVB sunburn index for the area is moderate.
KwaZulu-Natal
The province will be cloudy and cool with isolated showers and rain expected in the east. Coastal winds will transition from southerly to north-easterly in the afternoon, and the UVB sunburn index is expected to be high.
Limpopo
Residents can expect early morning fog in some central parts. Otherwise, it will be partly cloudy and warm, though some northern and eastern areas may be cloudy at first.
Mpumalanga
Morning fog patches are anticipated along the escarpment. The region will be partly cloudy and cool to warm for the day but could see cloudy conditions with drizzle overnight.
North West
The forecast suggests fine and warm to hot weather, becoming partly cloudy over the eastern parts later in the day.
Northern Cape
Apart from the high fire danger in Hantam Municipality, the province will see morning fog patches along the coast and southern parts. The weather will otherwise be hot to very hot, with fresh to strong south-easterly winds along the coast.
Western Cape
Morning fog is expected along the west coast. The province will be warm to hot but very hot in the western regions. Coastal wind will be moderate to fresh with a very high UVB sunburn index.
