Details about the much-loved pop culture festival, Comic Con Cape Town 2026 have been released.
When and where is Comic Con Cape Town 2026?
The multi-day anime and pop culture event is officially set for 30 April to 3 May 2026.
The event will once again be hosted at the Cape Town International Convention Centre 2 (CTICC2), making it the fourth edition in the city.
The long weekend, which includes the Workers’ Day public holiday on 1 May, means fans can expect big crowds and a full weekend of activities.
Ticket sales and specials
Tickets for Comic Con Cape Town 2026 will go on sale from 24 October 2025.
Early bird specials will be available, but organisers have not yet confirmed exact pricing.
Fans are encouraged to buy early, as previous editions of Comic Con events have seen tickets sell out quickly.
Celebrities on stage
The first official celebrity guest announcement will be made next month.
Organisers have promised big names from film and television, with Q&A sessions, meet-and-greets, and behind-the-scenes storytelling expected.
