A man from Florida, US, has gone viral on social media for over a video where he burns his entire 40-pair Yeezy sneaker collection.

The protester, whose identity remains unknown at this stage, took to social media to stand against Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, and the two-week-long tirade he went on, which the mainstream media tagged as antisemitic.
On Tuesday, 25 October 2022, Adidas set the internet on fire when the apparel brand announced its decision to sever all ties with Ye, effective immediately. In the statement, Adidas made it clear the company stood against “antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech”.
“Ye’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness,” the statement read.
After careful consideration, Adidas terminated its partnership with Ye and immediately called for an end to the production of all Yeezy products, as well as “payments to Ye and his companies.”
The apparel brand asserted that it was the “sole owner of all design rights to existing products as well as previous and new colourways under the partnership”, and admitted that the break up will “have a short-term negative impact of up to €250 million on the company’s net income in 2022 given the high seasonality of the fourth quarter.”
The Florida man, once a devout follower of Ye, took his frustrations out on his 40-pair collection of Yeezy sneakers. Here’s the video showing the unidentified man burning a pair of the Yeezy “QTNM”, the “500 Blush”, and a version of the “Flyknits”:
What’s the latest on Kanye West?
Following Adidas’ announcement, Ye has lost more business. As reported by HITC, the 45-year-old rap-fashion impresario’s California-based Christian private school, DONDA Academy, was forced to close its doors for the remainder of the 2022 curriculum amid pressure over his recent antics.
Moreover, among the growing list of companies and celebrities disassociating from Ye, TMZ reports that the Off The Grid producer was allegedly turned away at Skechers headquarters, where he had apparently tried to ink a footwear deal with the Jewish-owned brand.
No actual evidence of this supposed encounter exists, however.
In the midst of the turmoil, a silver lining came on Friday when Ye regained access to his Instagram account, and boy, did he not waste any time getting back to his trolling.
In several since-deleted posts, the 45-year-old exposed a text message allegedly sent by Quinn Emanuel, the law firm that, according to Reuters, severed ties with Ye over his recent run of rants.
Then, the 808s and Heartbreaks crooner blasted renowned entertainment reporter Jason Lee, who came under fire earlier this year for false claims he made about the death of Queen Elizabeth II, as a ‘clout chaser’.
Ye also poked fun at the entire debacle around his ‘cancellation’ in this post, which we suspect may be deleted soon:
