A video of HeartFM radio personality LuWayne Wonder being confronted by an unidentified loan collector has surfaced online.
What happened to LuWayne Wonder?
In the footage, the man accuses LuWayne of owing him R4,000, claiming the money was borrowed to fund a substance habit.
The exchange escalates as the collector physically assaults the DJ multiple times while demanding repayment.
LuWayne, appearing dishevelled, acknowledges the debt before the video abruptly ends.
Following the video’s circulation, LuWayne issued a statement denying the claims regarding substance use and clarifying the nature of the loan.
“He came to my residence asking and needing the money I owed. I couldn’t settle it at the time he was there. The money was a loan which I had taken out from him, and he got word that I had allegedly used the money for substance. It was a financial loan and nothing else I’m being accused of. The loan has been settled by me and the other party,” LuWayne said.
