Cosmetic surgeon Dr Nandipha Sekeleni Magudumana, who is at the centre of a thriller prison break allegedly pulled off by her rumoured boyfriend and Facebook rapist Thabo Bester, resurfaced on social media to promote her business.
Dr Nandipha resurfaces on socials amid Thabo Bester scandal
The renowned celebrity doctor disabled the comments of a new post she published on Thursday, informing her clients that “Dr Nandipha will be available from next week,” following a brief hiatus.
“We would like to notify all our clients that Dr Nandipha will be available from next week. We kindly appreciate your patience during this time,” the post read.
Dr Nandipha has yet to publicly address the ongoing scandal of the mysterious disappearance of Bester, a convicted sex fiend who was sentenced to life in prison for two counts of rape, aggravated robbery and murder.
An extensive GroundUp investigation uncovered how Dr Nandipha was at the centre of a suspicious prison death, where Bester supposedly torched himself inside his cell at the Mangaung security max prison, in May 2022.
Several inconsistencies with the manner of the death are part of an ongoing investigation, where it’s deemed possible Bester may have used the fire as a rouse to pull off a grand prison break with help from the inside.
This is supported by more evidence exposed by GroundUp investigators. According to a recent exposé, a prison warder came forward with information suggesting the corrections department’s deputy minister Phathekile Holomisa may have had knowledge of Bester’s prison break a month after it had occurred.
Interestingly, it was in June 2022 that a man resembling Bester was first spotted outside of prison. In fact, the Bester lookalike was seen shopping with Dr Nandipha at Sandton City by fans who secretly recorded the pair, thinking they’d just witnessed the celebrity doctor cheating on her husband.
What nobody knew at the time, however, was that in court documents seen by GroundUp, Dr Nandipha was, in fact, at the forefront of an application to be recognised as Bester’s customary wife in a bid to retrieve the charred remains of the prisoner who died in that cell, who, in her opinion, was the Facebook rapist.
From what we understand, Dr Nandipha’s in-court pursuits are still ongoing. The celebrity doctor, however, has yet to provide clarity on the speculation.
