A horrific bus crash that occurred near Bundu Inn, in GaRankuwa, Pretoria, on Friday, has claimed 16 lives, with the death toll expected to increase.

Details around the incident are still unclear, and emergency medics, as well as law enforcement officials, were still at the scene of the accident at the time this article was published.
From what we understand, the incident took place on Horsnek Road, on the M17.

The cause of the crash is not yet known but, from what’s been confirmed thus far, the horrific accident has claimed 16 lives, and 26 other passengers are being treated for serious injuries.
Moreover, according to eNCA, at least seven victims of the bus crash are in critical condition.

Traffic will more than likely be affected for the most part of Friday on the M17. Motorists are also advised to avoid the N4 and Rosslyn Road.
