According to Jacob Zuma, the campaign to have him imprisoned is a political ploy led by DCJ Raymond Zondo.

The State Capture Inquiry made it clear that it no longer wants Jacob Zuma to return to the hot seat. The commission wants harsh punishment against the 78-year-old.

The criminal complaint is the first warning shot, DCJ Raymond Zondo told Jacob Zuma.
