Watch: Camps Bay fire rages against high winds
At this time, it is not clear what started the fire but locals witnessed a thick cloud of smoke coming from a field near Victoria Road. The dry and windy weather may have something to do with it but fire and rescue officials have yet to issue a statement confirming this to be the case.
