Mpisane, who recently welcomed his second baby, this time around with his wife Tamia Mpisane, was out on the events circuit on Thursday evening.

Propaganda, a popular nightclub in Pretoria, hosted a ladies’ event dedicated to Amapiano. As usual, the venue was packed with a young crowd, anticipating the hard-knocking drums of the newly dominant genre.

Mpisane was on the bill to provide entertainment on the night. The 21-year-old took the stage with his crew and, suffice it to say, partygoers were far from impressed.

Mpisane gets credit for keeping things very professional and, despite blank stares from the crowd, delivering a highly energetic Gqom set.

Video footage of the crowd’s disinterested faces surfaced on the internet, going instantly viral on social media.

The Legendz of the Streetz event, held at an arena in St Louis, Missouri, was a top-draw affair, with headliners such as DJ Drama, Gucci Mane, Jeezy and Rick Ross on the bill.

Murmurs did the rounds on how he may have scored such a gig, but nonetheless, he forged ahead and opened up for global Hip-Hop heavyweights.
