The last day of Cotton Fest 2022 ended with a bang, and a whimper for fans of A-Reece, unfortunately.
Why was A-Reece kicked off stage?
Fresh from releasing a surprise EP on ‘Happy 420‘ titled The Burning Tree, A-Reece was one of the headliners expected to blaze the trail on stage, on Sunday.
AKA had his moment with a five-star performance, which included a reunion with Da LES, but everyone was waiting for Reece who was tipped as the last act.

Sure enough, the Pretoria rapper surfaced on stage to pay tribute to the late Riky Rick. Fans were in awe of the star and his set was pretty much top-draw.

Except, somewhere in his performance, he was sabotaged. At least, that was the general consensus from fans who saw the moment A-Reece was kicked off stage.

Cotton Fest has yet to issue a statement providing clarity on the abrupt end to the most-anticipated act’s performance.
