Shimon Hayut, or Simon Leviev to his blind-sighted cult followers, has been basking in the notoriety he garnered from Netflix’s tell-all about his cut-throat scams on vulnerable single women.

The Israeli national still flaunts the luxurious lifestyle on Instagram and, from what we understand, the celebrity scammer has his eyes set on a polished career in Hollywood.

Sources close to the swindler confirmed to the cited publication that already, he has inked a deal with renowned talent manager Gina Rodriguez from Gitoni Inc.

This deal, it’s said, will involve assimilating Simon into the entertainment industry and some of the gigs he has lined up include an autobiographical book, a dating podcast, and … wait for it … a dating show where women compete for his love.

Yeah, absolutely mind-blowing stuff…

No timelines are in place, at this juncture, on when exactly Simon intends to make his Hollywood debut. For now, the swindler enjoys a relatively ‘soft’ lifestyle which includes city-hopping on helicopters and burning the asphalt in high-end supercars.

In the wake of the chart-topping documentary on the swindler, the FBI’s internet crime centre revealed, in a press statement released last week, that American women aged above 40 lost more than $1 billion (est. R15 billion) to ‘romance scams’ in 2021.

According to the report, scammers targeted middle-aged women who were widowed, divorced, elderly, or disabled.

“The criminals spend hours honing their skills, relying on well-rehearsed scripts that have been used repeatedly and successfully, and sometimes keep journals on their victims to better understand how to manipulate and exploit them,” the FBI noted in the report.
