  • Yellow Level 2 Warning: Severe thunderstorms resulting in localized damage to settlements, property, and vehicles due to damaging winds, hail, and excessive lightning are expected over the eastern parts of the Eastern Cape, south of the escarpment.
  • Fire Danger Warning: Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the central and southern parts of the Northern Cape, the extreme southern parts of the Free State, the northeastern parts of the Western Cape, and areas in the western half of the Eastern Cape.
  • Advisory: Extremely hot conditions are expected in the western interior of the Eastern Cape, while hot and humid conditions will lead to extremely uncomfortable conditions in the southeastern interior of the same province.

  • Eastern Half of the Eastern Cape: Morning fog patches, cloudy along the coast, fine and warm to hot elsewhere, very hot in the northwest. Scattered thunderstorms expected in the afternoon.
