- Large waves may cause localised damage to coastal infrastructure between Lambert’s Bay and Port Alfred.
- Conditions will spread to Alexander Bay by the evening and persist until Sunday, 24 August.
- Yellow Level 2 Warning – Damaging Winds at Sea
- Strong winds are expected between Table Bay and Port Alfred, causing difficult navigation and hazardous sea conditions.

- Strong interior winds over the eastern Free State may lead to:
- Localised damage to settlements (formal and informal).
- Problems for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes, especially bridges and elevated roads.
