These conditions will spread to the Nama Khoi and Kamiesberg Municipalities, including the Matzikama Municipality in the Western Cape by Thursday. The heatwave is expected to end on Sunday.

Cape Town
On Wednesday, Cape Town is expected to have an overcast day with temperatures ranging from a high of 20°C to a low of 11°C. The morning will be mostly cloudy and cool at around 12°C, warming up to 20°C by the afternoon, while remaining overcast and mild. Winds will blow from the south-southeast at 33 km/h, bringing a fresh breeze throughout the day.
Durban
Durban is expected to have a high of 18°C and a low of 14°C. There is a 30% chance of rain, with light sprinkles expected late in the day, and cloud cover will be 100%. Winds will be coming from the southeast at about 15 km/h, making it a gentle breeze throughout the day.
Johannesburg
Johannesburg will experience sunny conditions with a high of 22°C and a low of 7°C. The morning will start off cool at 12°C, warming up to a mild 23°C by the afternoon. Winds will be gentle from the north-northeast at around 18 km/h, and there will be no cloud cover throughout the day.
