  • Advisory: Very cold, wet, and windy conditions are expected, with daytime temperatures of 10°C and below over the high-lying areas of the Western Cape and Northern Cape. This may pose risks to vulnerable people, livestock, and pets.

  • Western Cape: Cloudy along the south coast with morning rain, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to cold, becoming fine in the north by the afternoon. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south-easterly along the west coast, otherwise moderate to fresh south-westerly. It will become moderate southerly to south-easterly along the south coast from the evening.
  • Western Half of the Eastern Cape: Cloudy and cold, but cool with isolated showers along the coast and adjacent interior. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly, becoming light towards the evening.
  • Eastern Half of the Eastern Cape: Fine in the north, otherwise partly cloudy and cold, becoming cloudy with isolated evening showers along the Wild Coast. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south-westerly, becoming light to moderate towards the evening.
  • KwaZulu-Natal: Fine in the extreme south-west at first with morning fog patches over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and cold to cool with isolated morning showers and rain in the north-east. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-westerly. The expected UVB sunburn index: Low
