- Fire Danger Warnings: Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over most parts of North West and Free State, the northern parts of the Northern Cape, as well as over the Limpopo Valley, the Western Bushveld, and the Lowveld of Limpopo.

Cape Town
On Thursday, Cape Town will experience a cool and overcast day with temperatures ranging from a low of 11°C to a high of 16°C. There will be a moderate breeze from the northwest at 29 km/h, and the chance of rain is around 10%. The morning will be overcast at 13°C, with mostly cloudy conditions in the afternoon.
Durban
Durban will experience scattered clouds with a high temperature of 25°C and a low of 18°C. There will be a moderate breeze blowing at 28 kph from the southwest, and no rainfall is expected during the day. The UV index will be moderate at 5, with around 9 hours of sunshine.
Johannesburg
Johannesburg will experience an overcast day with a high of 30°C and a low of 16°C. The morning will be sunny and mild at 22°C, while the afternoon will become warm but overcast. Winds will be moderate from the west-northwest at 30 km/h.

- Gauteng: Fine and warm, but hot in the north.
- Mpumalanga: Fine and windy in the south, otherwise warm to hot, with very hot conditions in places in the Lowveld.
- Limpopo: Fine and hot, but very hot along the Lowveld and the escarpment.
- North West Province: Fine, windy, and warm to hot.
- Free State: Fine, windy, and warm, but cool in the south.
- Northern Cape: Cloudy in the west and south in the morning, otherwise fine, windy, and cool to warm, but cold in places over the southern high ground. It will become partly cloudy by the afternoon.
- Western Cape: Partly cloudy in the north, otherwise cloudy and cold to cool with isolated showers and rain along the south-west coast and adjacent interior, as well as in places in the east.
- Western Half of the Eastern Cape: Cloudy and cool with isolated showers and rain south of Somerset East, but scattered to widespread in parts along the coast.
- Eastern Half of the Eastern Cape: Partly cloudy in the north, otherwise cloudy and cool. Isolated showers and rain are expected east of Butterworth and south of Queenstown, but scattered to widespread in parts along the coast.
- KwaZulu-Natal: Morning fog patches over the eastern interior, otherwise fine and warm to hot, but very hot in places in the north-east.
