Eastern Cape

In the west, the morning may see fog in some areas over the interior, then becoming partly cloudy and cool, but warm in the north. Isolated showers and rain are expected from mid-morning. Coastal winds will be light north-westerly early morning, then fresh to strong south-westerly.

In the east, expect morning fog south of the escarpment, then partly cloudy and warm conditions. The region north of the escarpment will be windy and become cloudy with scattered showers and thundershowers from late morning. Coastal winds will be light to moderate north-easterly, turning fresh to strong south-westerly from mid-morning.

Free State

A partly cloudy, windy, and warm day is in store, with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers, except in the far west, where it will be hot.

Gauteng

The region will experience partly cloudy skies and warm temperatures, accompanied by isolated showers and thundershowers. The UVB sunburn index is extreme.

KwaZulu-Natal

The day will be fine and warm, turning hot in some eastern parts. The afternoon will become partly cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers. Coastal winds will be moderate to fresh north-easterly, shifting to moderate to fresh south-westerly from the south by the afternoon. The UVB sunburn index is moderate.

Limpopo

Expect cloudy conditions in the morning, shifting to partly cloudy and warm weather with isolated showers and thundershowers.

Mpumalanga

The morning will start cloudy, then become partly cloudy and cool to warm. Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected in places on the Highveld.

North West

The day will be partly cloudy, windy, and warm to hot, with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers.

Northern Cape

The province will be fine, windy, and hot, but partly cloudy in the extreme east with isolated showers and thundershowers. Coastal areas will have strong southerly winds.

Western Cape

Cloudy to partly cloudy and cool to warm weather is expected, with isolated to scattered showers and rain along the south coast and adjacent interior. Coastal winds will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-westerly, becoming south-easterly along the west coast from the afternoon. The UVB sunburn index is extreme.
