- A heat wave with persistently high temperatures is expected in parts of Limpopo and Mpumalanga until at least Sunday, 15 September 2024.
- Very hot and humid weather will result in extremely uncomfortable conditions in the Lowveld, Limpopo Valley, and Western Bushveld of Limpopo.

Cape Town
On Saturday, Cape Town will experience sunny conditions with a daytime high of 18°C and a low of 12°C. Winds will blow at around 11 km/h from the southeast, providing a light breeze. The humidity is expected to be moderate, and there is no chance of rain throughout the day.
Durban
Durban will experience mostly cloudy conditions with temperatures reaching a high of 23°C and a low of 19°C. There is a 10% chance of rain, and winds will blow from the south-southwest at 27 km/h, creating a moderate breeze throughout the day. The day will feel mild, with overcast skies persisting from morning through the evening.
Johannesburg
Johannesburg will experience warm and sunny conditions with a high of 29°C and a low of 20°C. Winds will be moderate, blowing from the north-northeast at 29 km/h. The afternoon will be mostly sunny, while the morning and evening will be partly cloudy, with no rain expected.

- KwaZulu-Natal: Morning fog over the interior, partly cloudy to cloudy and cool to warm, with isolated showers and thundershowers in the afternoon, except in the northeast. Hot in places in the northwest.
