Eastern Cape
In the eastern half, expect light morning rain south of the escarpment, with partly cloudy and cool weather and isolated showers and thundershowers, scattered in the south-east. The northern region will be partly cloudy, windy, and warm. Coastal winds will be light to moderate south-westerly, becoming moderate to fresh south-easterly north of Mazeppa Bay in the afternoon.
The western half of the Eastern Cape will see partly cloudy skies with cool to warm temperatures and drizzle in the extreme southeast. Coastal winds will be light-westerly in the morning, shifting to moderate to fresh south-westerly.
Free State
In the Free State, the day will be partly cloudy and warm to hot, with isolated showers and thundershowers expected in central, western, and extreme eastern parts.
Gauteng
Gauteng can expect a partly cloudy day with hot temperatures. Residents should be aware of an extreme UVB sunburn index.
KwaZulu-Natal
KwaZulu-Natal will be partly cloudy and hot, with warm conditions in the south. Scattered showers and thundershowers are expected in the south, otherwise isolated, except in the north-east. Mpumalanga
In Mpumalanga, the morning will bring cloudy skies and fog patches in the south-eastern Highveld, leading to a fine and warm to hot day, particularly in the Lowveld. The Highveld may see isolated thundershowers by afternoon.
North West
The eastern parts of the North West will start fine, transitioning to partly cloudy and hot to very hot weather, with isolated showers and thundershowers in the extreme west.
Northern Cape

Coastal winds will be moderate to fresh, southerly to south-easterly, switching to south-westerly to westerly south of Cape Point. An extreme UVB sunburn index is forecasted.
