Eastern Cape

The eastern half will have light rain along the coast and adjacent interior, with cool to warm temperatures. Isolated showers and thunderstorms, becoming scattered in the east, are expected. Coastal winds will be light to moderate south-easterly.

The western half of the Eastern Cape will experience warm conditions in the north and cool, cloudy weather with light rain elsewhere. The afternoon might see partly cloudy skies. Coastal winds will be light to moderate south-westerly, shifting to south-easterly later.

Free State

Similar to the North-West Province, the Free State will begin with cloudy weather in the morning, later becoming partly cloudy with hot to very hot temperatures. Isolated showers and thundershowers are forecasted.

Gauteng

The region is set to experience fine weather, transitioning from hot to very hot temperatures. The skies will become partly cloudy, with isolated evening showers and thundershowers. The UVB sunburn index is expected to be extreme.

KwaZulu-Natal

The province is set for partly cloudy weather with warm temperatures, becoming hot to very hot in the north. The afternoon will see cloudiness with scattered showers and thundershowers, though these will be isolated in the north-east. Coastal winds will be moderate to fresh south-easterly. The UVB sunburn index is expected to be extreme.

Limpopo

The forecast indicates partly cloudy weather with very hot to extremely hot temperatures, though central areas will only experience hot conditions.

Mpumalanga

The escarpment areas will be warm, while the rest of the region can expect partly cloudy skies with hot to very hot temperatures. Isolated to scattered afternoon showers and thundershowers are predicted, especially in the extreme north-eastern parts. The Lowveld area might experience extremely hot conditions.

North West

Initially cloudy, the weather will clear up to partly cloudy skies with hot to very hot temperatures. Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected, except in the eastern areas.

Northern Cape

The day will start with cloudy skies in some areas, then becoming fine and warm to hot. The eastern parts of the province might experience very hot temperatures and afternoon isolated showers and thundershowers. Coastal areas will face fresh to strong south-easterly winds.

Western Cape
