‘Rosemary’s Hitlist’ becomes Showmax gold

Rosemary’s Hitlist delves into the chilling true-crime story of Ndlovu, a former police officer turned convicted serial killer.

In 2021, Ndlovu was sentenced to six concurrent life terms for the brutal murders of six of her family members, including her sister and the father of her only living child at the time.

Ndlovu was handed an additional 30-year sentence and is currently appearing in court for allegedly conspiring with a colleague to murder her husband.

The motive behind Ndlovu’s gruesome crimes was a twisted pursuit of financial gain. She allegedly orchestrated the murders to collect funeral cover payouts amounting to over R1.4 million. Shockingly, the series finale unveiled that Ndlovu had taken out an astonishing 28 additional funeral insurance policies.

The concluding episode of Rosemary’s Hitlist also shed light on an ongoing investigation by Sergeant Keshi Mabunda into Ndlovu’s alleged involvement in the death of her first child, Jaunty Khoza.

The young boy passed away under suspicious circumstances in 2008 at the age of 13.

As the only remaining beneficiary, Ndlovu stood to gain a payout of more than R12 000 from her deceased first husband, Hand Khoza, Jaunty’s father.

Despite the suspicions surrounding Jaunty’s death, Mabunda decided against exhuming the body out of consideration for the grieving family.
