Nicki Minaj is the trending topic of the day and in her world, that is just another day in the life of a megastar.
However, this time around, the acclaimed rapstress has been linked to an ongoing feud with controversial talk show host Wendy Williams.
When did Nicki Minaj vs Wendy Williams beef start?
At the centre of the disgruntlement between the two ladies is the husband of Nicki Minaj, Kenneth Petty. Things got a bit awry when Williams, engaging with her audience on her daytime talk show, featured Petty on the Hot Topics segment and trust that there was nothing hot about what she said.
“Now, he served seven years in prison and he’s also a sex offender. So that means that he…is a manslaughter a killer? Okay. So, he’s a killer and a sex offender… Well Nicki, congratulations,” Williams sarcastically said.
An enraged Minaj responded to Williams on a segment of her Queen Radio show, describing the talk show host as a victim of domestic abuse.
“And I pray for you because I know you’re hurting and I know you must be sick and humiliated.” The rapper ripped into Wendy using her estranged husband, Kevin Hunter.
“But I understand why now. When a woman isn’t really being loved at home, the viciousness is a different type. So I really wanted to pray for you today, because look at where you are now in your life,” the rapstress said.
Was she dissing Wendy on DojaCat’s Say So remix?
Things seemed to cool off between the two ladies for a while until Doja Cat released the remix to Say So which featured Nicki Minaj.
Fans of the rapstress picked up these slick bars that may have been a diss to Williams.
Why you talkin' 'bout who body fake?
With all the fillers in your face, you just full of hate
That real ass ain't keep your nigga home
Now you lookin' silly, that's word to silicone
Nicki Minaj clears the air, that’s not a shot at Wendy
Unfortunately, Minaj was not referring to the talk show host. The rapstress was forced to come forth and douse fires, stating in her Instagram Story that she was not talking about Wendy.
