Megan Thee Stallion expected to receive support from her friend DaBaby over Tory Lanez but he did not want to be involved in any drama, a similar stance she took in the drama between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj.

What Dababy and Megan Thee Stallion fought about?

According to The Shade Room, Dababy retweeted a tweet that said he and Lanez should be good friends since they allegedly shot somebody and both did not face any charges against the crime.

In August 2020, Stallion claimed that it was Tory Lanez who allegedly shot her in the foot. Although Lanez was not arrested and pleaded innocent on social media, Stallion still stands by her story.

A few months later Dababy and Stallion dropped a hit song, Cry Baby. Weeks later they released the music video.

On 14 June, Lanez released a song featuring DaBaby and it seems like Stallion was not too happy about this.

Fans poke at Stallion’s double-standards

Fans took the time to dig up some of Stallion’s old videos where she stated she did not feel the need to apologise or alert Cardi and Minaj when collaborating with either of them.

In 2019 the Houston rapstress made a song with Minaj titled Hot Girl Summer. A year later, she collaborated with Cardi B on WAP, despite Cardi and Minaj getting into a physical altercation in September 2018.

Here’s how social media reacted to Stallion’s apparent showing of double-standards:

Megan and Dababy Tweets Over Tory Lanez

After Dababy retweeted the tweet, the Hot Girl Coach took it to Twitter to say how she felt. Saying she did not feel supported by Dababy in the public eye compared to in private.

The two kept going back and forth with Dababy asserting that he has always supported her but he was not a part of this drama and is only focused on making money.

Tory Lanez Reaction to the Twitter Drama

Lanez continues to seem unbothered by the situation, being that he has spoken on his ‘innocence’ countless times.
