Details about the incident were still sketchy when this article was published. However, according to provincial police, late on Monday evening, at approximately 23:15, a team of Paarl officers swiftly responded to reports of multiple gunshots fired at a residence on Chris Hani Street in Mbekweni.
Upon arrival, they were met with a gruesome scene – the lifeless bodies of three male victims, aged 12, 14, and 34, as well as two female victims, aged 32 and 39.
