Kimora Lee, the former wife of veteran music executive Russell Simmons went on Instagram Live to air out intimate details of her tumultuous relationship with her ex-husband, which, she claims, has taken an emotional toll on her and the children.

The 48-year-old mother of three indulged her fans with a rare moment of vulnerability, where she admitted that behind the scenes, her relationship with Simmons has been far from cordial.
In fact, Kimora Lee claimed, Simmons has allegedly been harassing her and putting the children through unbearable psychological torment. In one instance, the ex-supermodel added, Simmons allegedly posted a picture of a bouquet of flowers, falsely claiming he’d received the bunch from her.

More shocking, Russell’s second daughter, Aoki Lee Simmons, also took to social media to expose intimate WhatsApp conversations where the Def Jam Recording co-founder, who, in his senior years, has since rebranded into a zen yoga influencer, allegedly accused Kimora Lee of stealing his money.
In one video clip, which Aoki Lee muted to protect the little respect she has for her father, Russell Simmons was seen screaming into the phone, possibly hurling impurities at her.
“I’ve had enough. I know I may lose jobs or whatever I don’t even know. I was always a daddy’s girl you can see that in any picture. But he’s been awful to me for years and that’s just the truth,” the 20-year-old Harvard University graduate wrote.
In one of the WhatsApp conversations, Russell Simmon’s shockingly replied to his daughter’s text, where she vehemently defended her mom against claims she ‘stole’ the divorce settlement money ($250 million), blasting Kimora Lee as “a piece of s**t.”
“It’s like talking to a cruel child or something, and no he does not financially support me he hasn’t given me a dime in years. I haven’t had a graduation gift, a birthday gift, so much as a TAXI RIDE in years,” she exclaimed in one post.
It remains unclear what caused Kimora Lee’s meltdown, which, coincidentally occurred a day after Father’s Day.
However, based on one of the replies Russell Simmons sent to Aoki Lee, the music mogul may be still reeling from a lawsuit his ex-wife recently filed.
In November 2022, the Los Angeles Superior Court ordered Simmons to pay Kimora Lee’s legal fees, which totalled more than $100K, after losing a counter-suit he filed against the ex-supermodel and her estranged husband, Timothy Leissner in 2021, accusing the former couple of stealing stocks he owned without permission.
Neither Kimora Lee nor Russell Simmons has resurfaced with a statement addressing the shocking exposé.
