Amapiano is still reeling in shock following the deaths of Mpura, Killer Kau, Khanya ‘The Voice’ Hadebe and two other passengers this past long weekend.
What happened to Mpura, Killer Kau and The Voice?
On Monday, South Africa woke up to the horrific news of the stars’ untimely passing. From what has been revealed thus far, Mpura, Killer Kau and Hadebe were on their way to an event in Rustenburg with two unnamed occupants when their vehicle got involved in a car accident.
At this time, it is not known who was driving. Also, police have yet to reveal the state of the vehicle occupants before the car crash.
Speculations have been made but the likes of Prince Kaybee and Cassper Nyovest faced backlash for insensitive comments made at an inopportune time.
Currently, the respective families of the victims have yet to issue an official statement on funeral proceedings and if at all, a memorial service will be held in honour of the Amapiano rising stars.
How to contribute to Khanya Hadebe funeral
Hadebe’s family, it’s believed, has come out with a plea for financial assistance. In a post shared by fellow musician Daliwonga on his instagram Story, a woman known only as ‘Lingling’ claimed that the star’s family was in need of financial contributions.
