Renowned social media influencer Honour ‘Cyan Boujee‘ Zuma was forced to address claims she faked a pregnancy to score a Mini Cooper in a statement.

Did Cyan Boujee fake her pregnancy?

The rumour mill went on overdrive last week following reports published by renowned celebrity gossip microblogger and murder-accused Musa Khawula alleging the 21-year-old had used a fake pregnancy to extort a vehicle from a man named Kagiso Lerutla.

The gossip was first spread by a woman referred to as Doro Mongy, who identified herself as Lerutla’s sister.

Mongy accused Cyan of pressing her alleged brother about the car in a series of viral video clips. According to the influencer, who recently announced the loss of her unborn child, she’s never faked a pregnancy for clout.

“Me and my baby daddy (Bamzy Riches) did have a baby planned and we did get pregnant but unfortunately, we lost our baby earlier this year. i have not been with any other person that was claimed to be my baby daddy at all. And I have not been pregnant before that. I have also not threatened anyone for any amount of money,” she wrote.

Cyan added that despite dealing with the heartbreaking loss of a child, she had to address the claims that she stresses are defamatory and misleading.

“I never thought I’d ever have to defend myself for going through one of the most painful phase in my life. Deprived of the opportunity to [mourn] in peace, instead I’m being bombarded with negative statements that aim to destroy what I’ve built by people i never knew existed,” she added.
