Beyoncé Knowles-Carter’s rollout is intensifying by the day, and on Monday, the veteran songstress sent shockwaves across social media with the announcement of a new single, Break My Soul, set to drop tomorrow.

Queen Bey continued with her mystery rollout, on Monday, with confirmation of new music from her upcoming album, Renaissance (act 1).

The new single, Break My Soul, is expected to drop at midnight in US time.

This means that for South African audiences, the single release will most likely be available to stream on Tuesday, 21 June 2022, from 06:00 on every online music platform.

Fans of the Houston goddess have been following the rollout of her seventh studio album very closely. Sure, Beyoncé did hint at releasing a bundle of music this year, in her interview in the August 2021 issue of Harper Bazaar.

However, no movement was seen until last week, when seemingly out of the blue, she deleted all of her social media profile pictures.

Thereafter, her husband Shawn ‘Jay-Z’ Carter’s streaming service TIDAL launched pre-orders for Beyoncé’s new album, a body of work that, according to Variety sources, may lean into Dance and Country music.

Other artists expected to work with Beyoncé on her new album include:

  • Ryan Tedder from OneRepublic: He co-wrote her 2008 smash hit Halo; and
  • Raphael Saadiq; among others
