Somizi Mhlongo and his estranged husband Mohale Motaung-Mhlongo could be on the verge of a break-up and at the centre of it is a cellphone.

Yes, you read that correctly. The couple’s rumoured split has bubbled under the surface of the mill for a while. In a recent Instagram Live, the famed choreographer and radio host confirmed the suspicions.

He and Mohale are going through it and if no compromises are made, their marriage could be on the line. Mhlongo, thus far, is the only half that has been vocal about the frustrations he faces in the rocky relationship.

The 48-year-old recently went on IG Live to engage with his fans about the throes of long-term relationships. In not so many words, Mhlongo revealed the catalyst to his reported split with Motaung. To the radio host, it was the dominant presence of his hubby’s cellphone that ruptured their union.

Following this clip, rumours of the couple’s divorce swelled. This was not helped by the fact that they spent Valentine’s Day apart. Mhlongo, the chief of everything extravagant was forced to gawk at Lerato Kganyago’s FNB stadium dinner date, while his significant other was treated to a breakfast in bed at the Radisson Blu, in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape.

Who he was with, or rather, the photographer of his Instagram post remains unknown. However, one thing is for sure, things are not all together at Somhale.
