Khaya Mthethwa, the Idols SA season 8 winner and gospel musician, is officially a married man again.

The Durban-born pastor surprised fans when he revealed over the weekend that he had tied the knot with fitness and travel content creator Sine Ndlovu.

According to IOL, the intimate ceremony took place at Oasis Church in Umlazi, south of Durban, where the couple exchanged vows before close family and friends.

Photos and videos shared on social media showed a joyful celebration, with Mthethwa dressed in a tuxedo and Ndlovu stunning in a white lace mermaid gown and veil.

The couple later changed into traditional attire, with Mthethwa captioning a photo on Instagram, “Sthandwa sami,” meaning “My love.”

The post drew congratulatory messages from public figures including Zizo Beda and musician Teezy Fresh, who wrote, “May God bless this union”.

So, who is Sine Ndlovu?

Ndlovu, now known online by her handle @mrs_sinemthethwa, is a Durban-based fitness and lifestyle content creator who has built a loyal following by sharing motivational posts, travel content, and workout routines.

Her brand centres on wellness, faith, and self-empowerment, often collaborating with fitness apparel and nutrition brands.

Born and raised in KwaZulu-Natal, Ndlovu has previously spoken about how faith plays a central role in her life — a common value she shares with her new husband.

Friends of the couple say their relationship blossomed quietly over the past year, away from public attention, after Mthethwa’s years-long focus on healing and self-reflection following his divorce.

This marks Mthethwa’s second marriage. He was previously married to former Miss South Africa Ntandoyenkosi Kunene Radzuma in 2017, with whom he shares a son.

The couple divorced in 2019, a period the singer has described as one of the darkest times in his life.

Speaking in an interview with TimesLIVE, Mthethwa said:

“I really struggled. That has been the hardest thing I’ve ever had to go through… I was on anti-depressants and sleeping my life away” .

In a later podcast appearance, he reflected on his journey to healing, saying he had once vowed never to marry again but credited his faith for restoring his outlook on love and relationships. His recent Instagram post, “The Lord has done it finally,” has been widely shared by fans celebrating his new beginning.
