Weekend loadshedding schedule starting Friday, 8 March 2024

On Wednesday, Eskom updated this week’s schedule with a higher pattern of outages.

In a statement, the power utility confirmed loadshedding would alternate between Stage 2 during the day (05:00 – 16:00) and Stage 4 in the evenings (16:00 – 05:00) until further notice.

Therefore, barring any unexpected changes necessitated by unplanned breakdowns at Megawatt Park’s ailing generation fleet, loadshedding should be sustained at a rotation of Stage 2 and Stage 4 this weekend.
