On the real, 2020 put almost anything that’s got to do with glam to the side skirts yes. But this years makeup trends are coming in strong and they’re all functional for any day to night look.
2021’s makeup trends that are here to stay
It could be a bit hard to predict what the latest makeup trends will be to stay but these are not going anywhere. These five looks will glam you up in a second as it fuses dimension and shape.
1. Graphic eyes
A graphic eyeliner can dramatically change the shape of the eye. It easily gives the illusion of a lifted protruding cheekbone and elongates the rest of the face. Play around with colour and get a coloured eyeliner as a good substitute for eye-shadow blending.
2. Dramatic colour
The colour block eye grew in popularity and seemed to be so versatile that it’s here to stay. You achieve this by washing an eyeshadow colour over your entire eyelid, preferably your bright pinks, yellow’s and blues. While these are springy colours, this trends aesthetic will look good with any of your winter outfits.
3. Minimal foundation
This natural glam look seems effortless and as if you’re barely wearing any makeup. For this, gently exfoliate your skin and use a mate-based sunscreen. Opt for a cream eyeshadow that looks smooth on the surface of your skin. Another step is to conceal smartly.
4. Fluffy brows
We first saw the very, over-tweezed thin-like brow rising on Instagram not too long ago but now we all want is volume. By brushing your brows upward the hairs stand up giving a more defined fluffy brow shape. It changes the face shape and creates an angled look.
5. Glossy, glass skin
Walking around with that glow is another rising trick which can be achieved by firstly applying a mixture of moisturisers, cream highlighters, and oils to set your skin. Sweep blush and bronze above the cheekbones from the temples to the tip of your nose while you do your make up. Go a step further and add a glossy highlighter to your eyelid product that makes the perfect dimension for this look.
