Eskom has published an outlook of the loadshedding schedule starting Monday, 9 October 2023.

Here’s the loadshedding schedule starting Monday, 9 October 2023

On Sunday, 8 October 2023, Eskom extended the temporary suspension of loadshedding to 16:00 on Monday, “owing to improved generation performance.”
From 16:00, rotational outages are expected to return with Stage 2 until 05:00 on Tuesday, 10 October 2023.
Thereafter, loadshedding will likely rotate between suspended outages during daytime periods (05:00 – 16:00) and Stage 2 in the evenings.
“Eskom will communicate should any significant changes occur,” the utility noted.

As of Friday, 13 October 2023, breakdowns amounted to:
- 12 983MW – up 1 401MW from Monday, 2 October 2023
- 5 388MW – up 1 122MW from Monday, 2 October 2023
