Eskom has published an outlook of the loadshedding schedule starting Monday, 30 October 2023.

Here’s the loadshedding schedule starting Monday, 30 October 2023

On Sunday, 29 October 2023, Eskom revealed that after nine days of suspended outage, loadshedding would return at Stage 2 at 16:00 until the same time on Monday.
The state-owned utility explained that as a means of replenishing emergency reserves ahead of inclement weather conditions in most parts of South Africa this week, a pattern of heightened loadshedding will be reintroduced .
Therefore, starting Monday at 16:00, loadshedding will be implemented at Stage 2 until 05:00 the next day, and, thereafter, outages will be ramped up to Stage 3 until 16:00.
“This pattern will be repeated daily until further notice,” the national electricity provider noted.

As of Sunday, 29 October 2023, breakdowns amounted to:
- 17 507MW – up 1 357MW from Sunday, 29 October 2023
- 4 783MW – down 1 167MW from Sunday, 29 October 2023
