Eskom has published an outlook of the loadshedding schedule starting Monday, 16 October 2023.

Here’s the loadshedding schedule starting Monday, 16 October 2023

On Sunday, 15 October 2023, Eskom, for the second week running, extended the temporary suspension of daytime loadshedding, “owing to stable generation capacity.”
The power utility confirmed that between 05:00 and 6:00 on Monday, 16 October 2023, loadshedding will be suspended, followed by Stage 2 outages from 16:00 until 05:00 the next morning.
“This pattern will be repeated daily until further notice.,” the national electricity provider noted.

As of Sunday, 15 October 2023, breakdowns amounted to:
- 13 158MW – up 175MW from Friday, 13 October 2023
- 6 051MW – up 663MW from Friday, 13 October 2023
