Irish media reports claim Finn Cole, the British actor known for his role in Peaky Blinders, is engaged to Florence Pugh, the Oscar-nominated actress who has long kept her personal life private.
Florence Pugh and Finn Cole’s engagement reportedly confirmed
According to reports, the couple has quietly grown close, with sources saying they have “been in a bubble, getting to know each other away from the spotlight.”
Finn Cole, born in 1995, is best known for playing Michael Gray in the British crime drama Peaky Blinders.
He also starred as Joshua “J” Cody in the American TV series Animal Kingdom and appeared as young Jakob Toretto in F9, the ninth instalment of the Fast & Furious franchise.
In 2025, Cole stars in the underwater thriller Last Breath as Chris Lemons.
Florence Pugh keeps quiet about personal matters
Florence Pugh, widely recognised for her roles in Midsommar, Little Women, and Marvel’s Thunderbolts, has consistently chosen to stay silent on details of her romantic life.
Despite working with Finn Cole on Midsommar back in 2019, the pair were only linked romantically from late 2024.
Though they have never appeared together at official events, Cole reportedly attended the Thunderbolts premiere alongside Pugh’s family. He later shared photos from the night on Instagram, which Florence responded to with a melting face emoji.
A reported source told Irish media:
“They are both committed to their careers but have found something special between them.”
Previously, Florence dated actor Zach Braff from 2019 to 2022. Their relationship attracted public interest due to their age gap. Speaking to media in earlier interviews, Pugh shared that she values a sense of “family and safety” in her relationships.
“I’m allowing myself to take time to let something evolve… as opposed to racing into that,” she said in a British magazine profile.
As of now, neither Finn Cole nor Florence Pugh has made a public statement regarding the engagement.
