FBI arrests: J Prince rubbishes reports of a raid

Fans were in a frenzy after social media rumours claimed that Houston legend J Prince was the target of an FBI raid.

As the founder of Rap-A-Lot Records and a major figure in Hip-Hop, J Prince is no stranger to controversy, but this time he wasn’t having it.

He set the record straight with a blunt response, saying to Baller Alert:

“The people that start these rumours, tell lies for a living. I don’t have time to keep up with their b*lls**t.”

While J Prince’s name has often been dragged into drama, he’s making it clear that this time, it’s all just talk.

Just as the J Prince rumours were cooling down, Tekashi 6ix9ine (real name Daniel Hernandez) was hit with fresh legal trouble.

The rapper was arrested for allegedly violating the terms of his supervised release, which he received after his high-profile cooperation with authorities in 2018.

Prosecutors claim Tekashi travelled to Vegas without permission, failed a drug test, and missed required testing.

His attorney, speaking to Billboard, argues the drug test was only positive for Adderall, but the judge wasn’t convinced and cited a “pattern of misconduct.”

With his next hearing set for 12 November 2024, Tekashi remains in custody for now.

The legal heat didn’t stop with Tekashi—federal agents are also circling around Chicago’s Lil Durk and his OTF (Only The Family) label.

While Durk’s indictment has yet to be unsealed, his alleged connections to a murder-for-hire plot targeting Quando Rondo have landed him in the spotlight.

Prosecutors claim that members of OTF were involved in a scheme to avenge the 2020 killing of King Von, Durk’s close friend.

Five men reportedly flew from Chicago to L.A. to track down Rondo, and during an attempted hit, Rondo’s cousin Saviay’a Robinson was killed.

Now, federal authorities have detained multiple suspects connected to the crime, and hearings are underway.

With all this FBI action in the mix, Hip-Hop fans are on high alert.
