Rapper Cardi B is officially expecting her fourth baby. The 32-year-old I Like It hitmaker confirmed the news during an interview on CBS Mornings on Wednesday, 17 September 2025.
Cardi B confirms she’s pregnant with fourth child
She told anchor Gayle King:
“I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs. I’m excited. I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong, very powerful that I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”
Cardi already has three children — Kulture (7), Wave (4), and Blossom (11 months) — with her estranged husband, rapper Offset. This will be her first child with NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who is also dad to an eight-year-old daughter, Nova.
The couple spotted at NBA Playoffs after baby bump news
Just hours after confirming her pregnancy, Cardi B and Diggs were seen smiling together at the NBA Playoffs in New York. In a selfie she posted on X (formerly Twitter), Cardi wrapped her arm around Diggs while flashing a big smile. She captioned the post simply with a red heart emoji.
The pair have been linked since October 2024 but only went public with their relationship in May 2025, when they attended a Celtics vs Knicks game at Madison Square Garden.
At that time, fans noticed their chemistry, but Cardi chose to remain silent about pregnancy rumours until now.
She explained to Gayle King that she wanted to share the news on her own terms:
“I wasn’t hiding. I just wanted to say it in my own time. I wanted to close some deals first and make sure the baby was healthy before telling the world.”
Cardi B’s album rollout: Here’s what we know
Alongside her baby news, Cardi B is in the middle of promoting her long-awaited second album, Am I the Drama?, which drops this Friday.
The rollout has been full of quirky comedy skits, from selling CDs on New York subways to spoofing record label boardroom meetings.
These clips have reminded fans of the raw humour and charisma that made her famous long before her first album Invasion of Privacy in 2018.
Even though pregnancy may complicate her schedule, Cardi has assured fans she’s not slowing down. In a recent social media post, she promised:
“By the time tour comes, I’ll be doing splits, somersaults, backflips and handstands.”
Her upcoming tour is set to kick off in February 2026, just months after her baby is due.
