American R&B artist Sabrina Claudio is set to perform in South Africa for the first time this December, headlining LYFE, a one-day music festival taking place on Saturday, 6 December 2025, at Marks Park in Emmarentia, Johannesburg.
The event, organised by youth radio station Y, forms part of its annual summer celebration and will feature Claudio as the headline act.
The Florida-born singer, known for hits such as Belong to You, Unravel Me, and Frozen, is expected to perform a full live set of her most popular songs.
Joining her on stage will be South African R&B singer Lloyiso and Swazi-born artist and producer Manana. Both artists have gained local and international recognition for their soulful and emotive performances.
According to the organisers, LYFE will also feature performances by YFM personalities and DJs, including Rarri, Fif Laaa, DJ FaeFae, and Just Mo. The festival is scheduled to run from 12:00 to 20:00, offering fans a full day of live music and entertainment.
Y’s Music Curator, Gcobisa Codi Dinca, said the event is designed to celebrate the start of summer with a diverse lineup of artists.
“It’s all about great fashion, positive energy, good music and that signature Y flavour,” Dinca said in a statement.
The festival will follow Club Y, a pre-party event taking place on Friday, 5 December, in Melville. Together, the two events mark the start of Y’s summer campaign and are expected to draw large crowds of music fans from across Gauteng.
Tickets for LYFE go on sale through Webtickets from tomorrow.
The event is strictly for attendees aged 18 and older.
