Rocking the Daisies 2024: Who are the headliners?
This year, Rocking The Daisies marks its 19th anniversary by hosting the festival exclusively in Cape Town, aligning with the event’s origins.
The festival, set to take place in an area renowned for its natural springtime bloom of daisies, has unveiled its theme for 2024 as ‘In The Stars’.
Steyn Entertainment revealed that RocNation artist Snoh Aalegra will headline the event.
Born on 13 September 1987 in Uppsala, Sweden, to Persian parents, Aalegra’s journey into music began in her childhood, following her family’s relocation first to Enköping and later to Stockholm.
She started writing music at the age of nine. Aalegra has cited a range of artists as her musical influences, including Michael Jackson, Prince, Whitney Houston, James Brown, Brandy, Lauryn Hill, Missy Elliott, Robyn, and Mariah Carey, alongside the impact of film score orchestras and arrangements on her sound.
Rocking The Daises is expected to announce more headliners in the coming weeks.
RTD 2024 festival dates confirmed
The festival is scheduled from Thursday 3 to Sunday 6 October 2024 at Cloof Wine Estate, Cape Town.
