A jewellery store at Musgrave Centre in Durban was the target of an armed robbery on Sunday morning.

According to reports, four suspects fled the scene in a white Volkswagen Polo sedan, heading towards Hunt Road.
The incident occurred around 11:40, with the suspects allegedly armed and leaving one store employee injured during the ordeal.
Security services responded quickly and were present at the scene as investigations commenced.
Authorities are working to confirm the vehicle’s registration and are actively pursuing leads to locate the suspects.
This jewellery heist adds to a history of high-profile incidents at Musgrave Centre.
In 2019, a Woolworths store was targeted in a business robbery, though no injuries were reported in that case.
Similarly, in 2017, a group of 14 heavily armed suspects orchestrated a robbery at the mall, targeting a Telkom store and making off with electronic goods.
