KZN primary school teacher murdered in cold blood
According to a statement from the KZN education department, the educator was gunned down in cold blood at the school premises, leaving the entire school community in shock and mourning.
The District Director, Circuit Managers, and representatives from the Special Needs Education Services (SNES) were dispatched to the scene to provide support and assistance to those affected by the tragic event.
MEC Sipho Hlomuka expressed profound sorrow over the incident, stating:
“We are heartbroken by the loss of a dedicated educator. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and school community during this devastating time.”
The suspects involved in the shooting are still at large and are considered highly dangerous.
The motive behind the attack remains unknown. The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Education has condemned this senseless act of violence and has called upon law enforcement to expedite their investigation to ensure justice is served.
“We urge anyone with information to assist the police,” added MEC Hlomuka.
