In a tragic incident that shook the community of Kwanobuhle, five suspects accused of perpetrating a mass shooting appeared in the Kariega Magistrate Court on Monday.

Who are the suspects behind the Kwanobuhle mass shooting?

Mzolisi Nyiki, Unathi Booi, Sinethemba Mahlahla, Lee Fortuin, and Shafiek Jones faced charges related to the brutal attack, including six counts of murder and four counts of attempted murder.

Following their court appearance, the suspects were remanded in custody to allow them the opportunity to consult with their attorney.

The targeted victims included two women who were shot near the entrance gate, resulting in the tragic death of one of them.
