Social media has been mourning the tragic passing of Antwain Lee Fowler, a six-year-old who captured the world’s attention with his hilarious and absolutely adorable videos.

Antwain Lee Fowler dies: What’s the cause of death?

News of Fowler’s passing was announced by his mother, China, who managed his official Instagram account, on Sunday. From what we understand, the six-year-old had been diagnosed with Auto-immune Enterapothy (AIE), a rare condition characterised by intractable diarrhea that affects children.

Tragically, just two weeks before his death, China had celebrated Fowler starting his intravenous immunoglobulin treatment which, in her view, was the solution they’d been waiting for.

“For months everyone was left with curiosity about why Antwains Muscles were weak. After sooo many test we may finally have a solution to his problem,” she wrote.

What started out as a celebration of life and Fowler’s release from hospital a week ago, ended in loss for the six-year-old’s family.
