Sony kicked off February 2025 with an exciting lineup of PlayStation Plus Monthly Games, offering a mix of intense co-op action, hilarious intergalactic bounty hunting, and classic platforming nostalgia.
New Games on PlayStation Plus in February 2025
Starting on Tuesday, 4 February 2025, subscribers were granted access to Payday 3, High on Life, and Pac-Man World Re-Pac for free, available to download until 3 March 2025.
Let’s take a closer look at these additions to the PS Plus library.
Payday 3 | PS5
Fans of high-stakes heists and cooperative gameplay are in for a treat with Payday 3. This adrenaline-fuelled first-person shooter reunites the infamous Payday Gang, throwing players back into a life of crime in a series of meticulously planned and executed robberies. With up to four-player online co-op, players must strategise, execute daring heists, and outmanoeuvre relentless law enforcement. Set several years after their reign of terror in Washington DC, the gang returns to handle a new threat that drags them out of retirement.
High on Life | PS4, PS5
From the creators of Rick and Morty comes High on Life, a comedy-infused first-person shooter packed with bizarre humour and unique weapon mechanics. The story follows a high school graduate with no direction in life—until an alien cartel invades Earth to harvest humans as a drug. With the help of an arsenal of chatty, sentient guns, players embark on an intergalactic adventure to take down the Garmantuous crime syndicate. Expect outlandish characters, eccentric humour, and a vibrant sci-fi world as you blast through enemies and explore strange biomes.
Pac-Man World Re-Pac | PS4, PS5
Reviving a classic, Pac-Man World Re-Pac is a remake of the beloved 1999 PlayStation platformer, featuring updated visuals, smoother mechanics, and improved UI. The story kicks off with Pac-Man returning home for his birthday, only to find that the Ghosts have kidnapped his family and ruined his celebration. Determined to rescue them, Pac-Man embarks on an adventure through Ghost Island, dodging enemies, solving environmental puzzles, and engaging in classic platforming action. Players can also enjoy Maze Mode, featuring 3D labyrinth challenges, and unlock the original Pac-Man arcade game in Original Mode.
What you must know about PS4 games for PS Plus
Sony has announced an upcoming shift in its PlayStation Plus offerings, reflecting the community’s transition toward PS5. As of January 2026, the PS Plus Monthly Games lineup will prioritise PS5 titles, with PS4 games being phased out as a core benefit. Although select PS4 games will still be included occasionally, the focus will primarily be on next-gen content.
However, subscribers who have already redeemed PS4 games through PlayStation Plus will retain access to them as long as they remain active members. Additionally, PS4 titles in the Game Catalog will remain playable until they are removed in the regular monthly refresh.
This evolution of PlayStation Plus aligns with Sony’s commitment to enhancing subscriber benefits, including exclusive discounts, online multiplayer access, and cloud game saves.
Moving forward, players can expect a steady influx of new PS5 games every month, keeping the service fresh and engaging.
