  • Yellow Level 4 Warning: Disruptive rain is expected in Gauteng, central and western Limpopo, the escarpment and Highveld of Mpumalanga, eastern Free State, and most of KwaZulu-Natal (excluding extreme southern and eastern areas). This rain may result in flooding of roads, damage to infrastructure, and displacement of affected communities.
  • Fire Danger Warning: Extremely high fire danger conditions are anticipated in the central parts of the Northern Cape.

  • Mpumalanga: Cloudy and cool with widespread showers and thundershowers, except in the Lowveld where it will be warm with scattered showers and thundershowers.
  • Limpopo: Cloudy and warm to hot with scattered to widespread showers and thundershowers.
  • North West: Cloudy and cool to warm, with scattered showers and thundershowers, but isolated in the western parts where it will be partly cloudy.
  • Free State: Cloudy and cool to warm with scattered showers and thundershowers, isolated in the west where it will be partly cloudy.
  • Northern Cape: Fine and cool to warm in the southwest, otherwise partly cloudy and hot to very hot, with isolated showers and thundershowers in the eastern parts.
    • Wind: Fresh to strong south to south-easterly.
  • Western Cape: Partly cloudy in the east initially, otherwise fine and warm to hot, but very hot over Worcester and Prins Albert. Cool conditions are expected along the southwestern and southern coast, becoming partly cloudy in the evening.
    • Wind: Fresh to strong southerly to south-westerly but light and variable along the west coast in the morning.

  • Western Half of the Eastern Cape: Cloudy at first, then partly cloudy and warm, with cooler conditions along the coast. Isolated thundershowers are expected in the north-east.
