  • Yellow Level 2 Warning: Severe thunderstorms are expected over the north-eastern parts of the Northern Cape, western parts of North West, Free State, western parts of KwaZulu-Natal, and south-eastern parts of Mpumalanga, possibly leading to flooding of roads, bridges, and low-lying areas, along with localised damage.
  • Yellow Level 1 Warning: Disruptive rain may lead to localised flooding over Joe Gqabi district as well as Emalahleni and Sakhisizwemunicipalities in the Eastern Cape.
  • Yellow Level 1 Warning: Damaging winds are expected between Cannon Rocks and Coffee Bay, affecting navigation and causing disruptions at ports and harbours.
  • Advisories:
    • Hot to very hot, uncomfortable conditions will persist over Namakwa, City of Cape Town, West Coast, and Cape Winelands Districts until Sunday.
    • Heatwave conditions are forecast over Saldanha Bay, Swartland, and parts of Cape Town until Sunday (6 April 2025).
    • A low-pressure system may result in disruptive rain along the south-east coast from East London to Port Edward between Saturday and Sunday.
