Memes are the go-to resource to use as a means of expressing emotions on social media. Every laughable moment caught on camera, is, more often than not, transformed into a form of expression when texting friends on the internet.

Matheba, who’s been in the limelight for decades, has a library of memes her fans and admirers use on a daily basis to find new ways to express themselves on social media.

However, Ndamase’s use of this image of Bonang was not taken lightly at all by the House of BNG owner‘s fanbase.

While the context behind the use of this image can be pulled by fans of the social media influencer, the majority of the sentiment online leaned toward the fact that Ndamase may have been fully conscious of the reactions an unfiltered portrait of Matheba was going to receive when posted on her Instagram page that, by the way, has 1.8 million followers.

Ndamase, however, vehemently suggested there was no ill-intent behind posting Matheba’s unflattering image.

“I even post meme’s of MYSELF but because it’s me there must be more to it,” she exclaimed in a tweet.

Matheba, whose problems are much greater than social media furore, has yet to issue a response to Ndamase.

Here’s how social media reacted to the ‘meme’.
