A TikTok creative left fans of the Single Ladies songstress gob-smacked when he detailed the reported lengths taken by her beauty and cosmetics team to source her one-of-none wigs.
Usually, women purchase installation hair from online outlets such as AliExpress, local hair stores and, for Hollywood celebrities, ‘GoNaked’ by Porsha Williams. However, Mrs Knowles-Carter reportedly takes extreme measures in sourcing her wigs.
According to the TikToker, the 40-year-old relies on four high-category hair stylists to source, arrange, colour and install her wigs.
Her most expensive wig, it’s reported, came in at a staggering cost of $145 000 (est. R2.2 million).
The TikToker reports that this wig, sourced from two Norwegian twin sisters, who allegedly had to endure two years of a strict organic diet, she wore at the Mrs Carter World Tour in 2013.
