Cassper Nyovest celebrates life with ‘Summer Love’

Cassper Nyovest talks about a 'London' ting on his new single.

Cassper Nyovest is riding comfortably on an unassailable wave and on Summer Love, the rapper escapes into an intercontinental voyage jaded by a British love interest.

It’s quite clear, at this point, that Nyovest’s versatility has extended well beyond Hip-Hop. At the age of 31, with a decade-long chart-topping discography, Nyovest is no longer interested in the pursuit of dominance in rap music, albeit the genre no longer pays the bills for South African artists.

On Summer Love, Nyovest dug deeper into Alie Keyz’ Amapiano crates and found a mellow, yet charged-up instrumental to share his memoirs of an entanglement with ‘a London ting’.

On this new single, Nyovest features a prominent guest, RAYE, a 24-year-old singer and songwriter from South London.

The song dropped on every digital streaming platform, on Thursday.
